Kevin's birthay

I'm so excited for Kevin's birthday this year. IT's not until the end of September but I'm already working on two surprises that I know he's going to love. I hope they work out!! Wish me luck.

FUN WEEKEND

This weekend was a lot of fun. It started off early with going to see our friends in the hospital Thursday. They had their little girl who's name was not revealed until her delivery. Addison Nicole La Trobe was born August 20 weighing in at 7 lbs. and 2 oz. and measuring up at 19.5 inches. She is such a beautiful baby!

Then Saturday we got up and went to look at this Range Rover at a car auction Kevin found out about. I guess we have bought stuff for work from there before. This wasn't the fun part for me just Kevin haha. Then we went to Bergstroms to get Miss Natty cakes her "Big Girl Seat". She still fits into her baby one but we thought since it was on SALE and since Mr. Caleb is going to be using that one when he gets here why not get it now. We were comparing the Britax car seats to the Recaro ones and we loved the Recaro. So Natalie is the new owner of this pretty "Big Girl Seat"

When Caleb gets big enough he will have the matching one but the pink will be blue. Kevin's idea ha.

(Sorry there are no pictures of Nat in her new car seat but I forgot my camera and I only had my phone top take pictures, Needless to say I still haven't figured out how to send pictures to an email)

Sunday we got up early and went to 7:30 a.m. mass. We hadn't made it to the early mass in a while so it was nice to have Natalie in a pleasant mood during church. Then after church we took both cars to the car wash which took forever I may add! Of course Kevin's car was done before mine so he left and got me a donut and went to pick my mom up and we all headed to the Long Beach Farmers market. Natalie got to try some yummy fresh fruits. She loves going there. There is nothing this child won't eat. After that we headed back home to cook dinner and dessert to take over for Brett and Danae (the one's who just had the baby). We made chicken piccata, garlic dill mashed potato's, and chocolate lava brownies as Kevin has been calling them. We made so much there was enough for us and my mom. After we dropped it off to them we headed to my mom's for lunch and to visit with my Aunt who's here from out of town. After lunch we headed back home to relax the rest of the night away.

It was a very busy weekend but a lot of fun for us.

-shakes her head no (we are working on yes)

-waves bye bye

-crawls with a vengeance

-can stand for a few seconds without holding onto anything

-pulls herself up on anything that will hold her

-walks along furniture she can grab

-claps

-loves playing patty cake

-imitates sounds and coughs we make

-has her two bottom teeth and almost the top two

-and best yet gives kisses!

Where has the time gone?

Can you believe we are already half way through the month of August? It seems like yesterday it was the beginning of summer.

Man I remember when I was little summer felt like it lasted forever and it took even longer for my birthday and Christmas to roll around. Now that I'm at the ripe old age of 23 almost 24 haha it seems to fly by faster and faster each year.

Pretty soon I will be having to send out birthday invitations for Nat's 1st birthday and then before I know it Mr. Caleb will make his grand entrance.

Wow.....

Oh Monday Monday

This weekend was great. Kevin and I took Natalie to Palm Springs for the first time for some R & R. She didn't mind the heat and loved the pool of course. We stayed at the Westin and there were so many ducks by the lake. She got a kick out of this one that kept waddling over when I would give her some water from my cup. We threw the duck a piece of ice and then he went away ha poor guy thought we had food.

Then today Kevin and I went to my Dr.'s appointment. I'm half way there wooohooo! My due date is officially December 28th but we are going to see if we can speed up the process around the 18th like we did with Natalie. Caleb looks and sounds great. I went back to have another ultrasound done and Caleb was sucking his thumb and opening his mouth. He is a very active baby just like Natalie was.

So that is the latest stay tuned for more.

Hawaii

We recently took a trip to Kauai with some of our friends and their children. There was a total of 6 adults and 5 kids and one on the way. Let's just say it was a very full house.

We spent most of the time either at the beach or pool. Some days we even ventured to another beach that wasn't outside our condo. We had so much fun taking Nat to see all the new sights. She absolutely loved the ocean and spending so much time with her Daddy and Mommy.

This was Kevin's first time being with her for more than 4 or 5 days. He was in heaven. He took her on walks/runs in her jogging stroller and swimming.

Here are a few pictures from our trip. Nine days flew by and coming home came way too soon for all of us.

We will just have to go back next year!

Returning with a vengeance, I hope!

So after many months of not blogging but blog stalking I am finally going to update my blog. I read so many other blogs out there and their lives seem so interesting that I think to myself I never have anything good to blog about. But then I look at all the fun trips we take and all the new stuff that Natalie is learning and I realize that I do have stuff to write about I'm just too lazy to do anything about it.

Well I'm tearning a new leaf and I'm making it a priority to blog atleast a few times a week. So we will se how it goes. Stay tuned for the latest.
