Busy

Saturday we had so many friends and family help us move. We are so grateful for every bodys help. We are almost done unpacking. Tomorrow we have our 36 week Dr. appointment. I hope we don't get admitted for any reason. Natalie also has her year check up after my appointment. She is going to get so many shots. I hope that she doesn't take it to bad.

Our nephew Chase also got to come home today. I still haven't got to see him since he was in the NICU. I hope that I can get to see him Saturday if I feel better.

I guess all this moving and stress caught up to me, either that or my mom gave me her sore throat.

Well we will keep you up to date on all the events going on.

Congrats Jess and Dave

My good friend Jessica just got engaged last week. We are so excited for Dave and Jess. We know they will have a wonderful life together. We love you both.

21 days and counting

So we are 21 days from "D" day. We are going into the Dr. on December 10th at 10:45 to hopefully move things along. WE did the same with Nat and she was here in a little over 24 hours. So wish us luck!

Our baby is a whole year old.

It's hard to believe but our little Natalie turned a year old November 16th. We celebrated with a party for her on Saturday and then Sunday we went to church and another friends 3rd birthday party. She got a lot of clothes and toys both she needed. We didn't buy her any new clothes for a few months before hand cause we knew we would get some. The toys were also wonderful since she had pretty much out grown all of her other toys.

Here are a few fun facts about Natalie:
-She knows how to give kisses even to Caleb
-She understands for the most part that baby brother Caleb is in mommy's tummy.
-She has 7 1/2 teeth ha one isn't all the way through yet.
-She loves to dance
-She is a full blown walker
-She will bring you stuff when you ask her to
-She is the best daughter Kevin and I could ever ask for
-She is going to be a big sister in about 25 days or so

Happy birthday Natty cakes. We love you so much!

Big Bear Weekend

This Friday we headed up to the cabin in Big Bear for a fun family weekend. It was the perfect weather. We went for a bunch of walks Saturday one was a hike on some trail we found. I am pretty proud of myself for being 8 1/2 months pregnant and hiking! Kevin carried Natalie pretty much the entire way too so props to him. She's no light weight.

Sunday we woke up to snow. It wasn't fluffy snow but it was Natalie's first time seeing snow, well that she can remember. It was so cold, too bad we had to leave that morning and didn't get to play in it.

Birthday

So It's not my birthday yet, but Kevin and I celebrated it this past weekend in Big Bear. My favorite way to spend my birthday is going to the cabin in Big Bear and just haning out. I love that it's actually starting to feel like fall up there. So Kevin, Natalie and I packed up the car and headed to Big Bear Friday. Saturday we went to the zoo and after that we came home to let Natalie nap. Well turns out Kevin had something up his sleeve. He had invited my mom, sister, brother in-law and Alicia, Jere, and Ky up to spend the night. Alicia, Jere, and Ky couldn't make it but I was so shocked to see the rest of them there. You know you have totally surprised me when I start to cry! And to make it even better they brought my favorite cheesecake from cheese cake factory (banana cream)! It was such a nice weekend. Thanks Babe I love you!

Finally Pictures!

Here are the pictures I promised!

Eventful weekend!

This weekend was a lot of fun. It was the first offical "fall weekend". The weather was chilly and felt oh so good. We started out by Kevin taking me to get a 3D/4D ultrasound of Caleb. (Pictures to follow) From what we could see we thinks he looks just like Natalie. He has the same button nose and cute little cheecks and big lips! He was a little bit of a stinker though and kept moving his arms in front of his face, but all and all we got some good pics.

After the ultrasound we headed picked my mom up and we dropped him off at work for a bit and we went to Target. I love target and could spend hours just going up and down every aisle. When we were finished we picked Kev back up and went to the pumpkin patch. Natalie got to pick out her own little pumpkin and we got a family one. MiMi bought Natalie her first poney ride. (pictures to follow) Natalie wasn't too sure about it at first and wanted hugs from Daddy to comfort her, but once the ponies started to move she loved it. We went to the farm animals next and Kev fed the goats while Natalie watched. She loves animals but again wasn't too sure about the big goats with horns.

I promise I will put picutres up here soon so check back in the next couple of days.

Natalie 10 months

Since I'm so behind I figured I would put up Natalie's 10 month pictures. Jenny took Nat's pictures for her Daddy's birthday pressent and they turned out great. He was so excited and loved all of them. She is getting so big. She has started to walk but she has taken a few good tumbles and is a little more cautious now. She also has 6 teeth and is working on the 7th. she is also getting very excited for her little brother to get here.

PARKS, PARKS, AND MORE PARKS!

We have been spending a lot of time at parks lately. Natalie can't get enough of the swings. We took her two times last week and then twice this weekend and we are going again tonight.

When we took her to Chris Carr Park to feed the ducks she got so excited. She starts making this noise that we guess her he "duck sound". She's not too sure about the big geese getting so close to her but she just sits there watching them, then looks at us like don't let them get to close to me.

Saturday night we went for a family want to Znow's ice cream shop. It's so yummy. If you ever are in the mood for Root Beer ice cream you have to go there.

All in all it was yet another wonderful weekend. Just when I thought I was ready for Fall all this outdoor time is making me think twice.

Oh and we went to Nat's 9 month check up Friday. She's a whopping 29.25 inches long, 21.5 pounds and have her two top teeth now too. (but we didn't have to go to the Dr. to find that out ha)

Here are some pics from the parks and her car seat pictures!

Kevin's birthay

I'm so excited for Kevin's birthday this year. IT's not until the end of September but I'm already working on two surprises that I know he's going to love. I hope they work out!! Wish me luck.

FUN WEEKEND

This weekend was a lot of fun. It started off early with going to see our friends in the hospital Thursday. They had their little girl who's name was not revealed until her delivery. Addison Nicole La Trobe was born August 20 weighing in at 7 lbs. and 2 oz. and measuring up at 19.5 inches. She is such a beautiful baby!

Then Saturday we got up and went to look at this Range Rover at a car auction Kevin found out about. I guess we have bought stuff for work from there before. This wasn't the fun part for me just Kevin haha. Then we went to Bergstroms to get Miss Natty cakes her "Big Girl Seat". She still fits into her baby one but we thought since it was on SALE and since Mr. Caleb is going to be using that one when he gets here why not get it now. We were comparing the Britax car seats to the Recaro ones and we loved the Recaro. So Natalie is the new owner of this pretty "Big Girl Seat"

When Caleb gets big enough he will have the matching one but the pink will be blue. Kevin's idea ha.

(Sorry there are no pictures of Nat in her new car seat but I forgot my camera and I only had my phone top take pictures, Needless to say I still haven't figured out how to send pictures to an email)

Sunday we got up early and went to 7:30 a.m. mass. We hadn't made it to the early mass in a while so it was nice to have Natalie in a pleasant mood during church. Then after church we took both cars to the car wash which took forever I may add! Of course Kevin's car was done before mine so he left and got me a donut and went to pick my mom up and we all headed to the Long Beach Farmers market. Natalie got to try some yummy fresh fruits. She loves going there. There is nothing this child won't eat. After that we headed back home to cook dinner and dessert to take over for Brett and Danae (the one's who just had the baby). We made chicken piccata, garlic dill mashed potato's, and chocolate lava brownies as Kevin has been calling them. We made so much there was enough for us and my mom. After we dropped it off to them we headed to my mom's for lunch and to visit with my Aunt who's here from out of town. After lunch we headed back home to relax the rest of the night away.

It was a very busy weekend but a lot of fun for us.

Where has the time gone?

Can you believe we are already half way through the month of August? It seems like yesterday it was the beginning of summer.

Man I remember when I was little summer felt like it lasted forever and it took even longer for my birthday and Christmas to roll around. Now that I'm at the ripe old age of 23 almost 24 haha it seems to fly by faster and faster each year.

Pretty soon I will be having to send out birthday invitations for Nat's 1st birthday and then before I know it Mr. Caleb will make his grand entrance.

Wow.....

Oh Monday Monday

This weekend was great. Kevin and I took Natalie to Palm Springs for the first time for some R & R. She didn't mind the heat and loved the pool of course. We stayed at the Westin and there were so many ducks by the lake. She got a kick out of this one that kept waddling over when I would give her some water from my cup. We threw the duck a piece of ice and then he went away ha poor guy thought we had food.

Then today Kevin and I went to my Dr.'s appointment. I'm half way there wooohooo! My due date is officially December 28th but we are going to see if we can speed up the process around the 18th like we did with Natalie. Caleb looks and sounds great. I went back to have another ultrasound done and Caleb was sucking his thumb and opening his mouth. He is a very active baby just like Natalie was.

So that is the latest stay tuned for more.

Hawaii

We recently took a trip to Kauai with some of our friends and their children. There was a total of 6 adults and 5 kids and one on the way. Let's just say it was a very full house.

We spent most of the time either at the beach or pool. Some days we even ventured to another beach that wasn't outside our condo. We had so much fun taking Nat to see all the new sights. She absolutely loved the ocean and spending so much time with her Daddy and Mommy.

This was Kevin's first time being with her for more than 4 or 5 days. He was in heaven. He took her on walks/runs in her jogging stroller and swimming.

Here are a few pictures from our trip. Nine days flew by and coming home came way too soon for all of us.

We will just have to go back next year!

Returning with a vengeance, I hope!

So after many months of not blogging but blog stalking I am finally going to update my blog. I read so many other blogs out there and their lives seem so interesting that I think to myself I never have anything good to blog about. But then I look at all the fun trips we take and all the new stuff that Natalie is learning and I realize that I do have stuff to write about I'm just too lazy to do anything about it.

Well I'm tearning a new leaf and I'm making it a priority to blog atleast a few times a week. So we will se how it goes. Stay tuned for the latest.

Daddy's first

So today was Kevin's first time picking out Natalie's outfitt without any help. I couldn't help but take some pictures of this SPECIAL moment. :) It was too cute. haha

FINALLY!!!

Yes, yes, I know I have finally managed to write my first post. Things have been so crazy these past almost two months. I cannot believe how my life has changed in this short amount of time.

Natalie has brought us so much joy and happiness. I honestly don't know what we did before she was here. I never thought that being a parent was going to be so much fun. It is a lot of work but honestly its not as hard as I was thinking it would be. I guess that's because I have a great Husband, family and friends to help me out; and when they aren't around I would like to brag that I have become a master at muslti-tasking!

Some of Natalie's firsts have been:

1st Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve party (she slept her way right into the new year), sleeping through the night, smile, time away from Mommy and Daddy, and this coming Friday her first plane ride.
